Modifications Steering Scout II Power Steering Gear Box

 My Jeep was already equipped with a one piece tie rod when I got it. All I had to do was to build a new drag link. I got a scout drag link with a bad end for free. I cut the bad end off and threaded the remaining stub to go into the Jeep drag link. The Jeep drag link was then shortened to the proper length. The drag link looks like it is very close to the PTO winch in this picture, but it is actually behind it and clears the winch and PTO driveshaft by a couple inches. |
