Modifications Steering Scout II Power Steering Gear Box

 Here is the installed Scout II gear box. It mounts where the shock used to be. The shocks will be relocated behind the axle. The lower mounts will be taken care of by swapping the spring plates from side to side. This has the added benefit of creating more space on the other side for mounting the radiator. Also visible in this picture is the power steering pump from a Chevy small block. The chevy bracket was modified to mount to the alternator bracket. The alternator will be moved to the other side using a smog pump bracket off of a non-turbo 2.3L. |
