The 2.3L was never offered from the factory in front of the T-18, and there were no adapters made that I was aware of, so I took it to a machinist to adapt it myself.  Three of the four holes on the tranny lined up outside or right on the edge of the bellhousing.  The machinist cut holes in the bellhousing and welded 1" thick ears for those bolts.  The 4th hole had some extra material welded in behind it.

These areas were then drilled and tapped for 9/16" bolts and should hold nicely.
